Born in Düsseldorf in 1961, she has been a freelance artist since 2001. From 2008 to 2011, she studied painting and graphic design at the Freie Akademie Rhein-Ruhr. Her artwork often incorporates found objects, primarily wood, which connect to nature and reflect a moment in their metamorphic development. The sculptures' static appearance contrasts with the dynamic process of their creation.
